Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Rawa Bowl khaman:

  1. 1 cup suji/semolina
  2. 1/2 cup curd/dahi
  3. half cup+1 tbsp Water or as needed
  4. 1/2 tsp Salt
  5. 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  6. 1 pouch Regular Eno
  7. 2 tbsp Oil
  8. for Seasoning:
  9. 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  10. 8-10 Curry leaves
  11. 2 Slit green chillies
  12. 1 chopped green chilli
  13. 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  14. as required Onion garnishing

  1. Take a bowl add suji,curd and half cup water,1 chopped green chilli,mix well,add salt and turmeric powder and keep aside for 15 mins.
  2. Now check consistency add 1 tbsp water and mix again now add 1 pouch eno and mix gently consistency semi thick like idli batter.
  3. Take a pan put a wire stand.Fill 1 glass water in pan,cover with any plate or lid.Put a wire stand or perforated plate reverse, let it boil.
  4. Take 4 bowl /katori and grease with oil,fill ready batter upto 60% cover with any lid to steam it steam for 5-7 mins check with a toothpick if it comes clean,khaman is ready
  5. Let the bowls cool for 2-3 mins.meanwhile prepare seasoning.Take a tadka pan add oil,mustard seed,green chilli slit,saute for a minute,add red chilli powder,add 2 tbsp water,cook for a minute seasoning is ready.
  6. Loose sides by knife and take out khaman and spread seasoning over it,tasty khaman ready.Serve with chopped onion,mix of chilli and tomato sauce.Happy eating.Enjoy!!!
